Mieru

A daily puzzle for phones and the web. Clear coloured tiles to uncover a hidden pixel picture, then name it with as little of it showing as you can. "Mieru" is Japanese for "can be seen".

How it plays

  • Clear tiles to reveal a picture Shooters ride a conveyor belt around an octagon of coloured tiles and clear the tiles of their own colour. Straight sides shoot along rows and columns; corner sides shoot diagonally.
  • A hidden pixel picture Under the tiles is a pixel picture. The goal is to name it with as little of it showing as possible.
  • Six guesses a day You get 6 typed guesses each day, and every guess is marked letter by letter.
  • One puzzle for everyone each day Everyone gets the same picture and board. Monday is the easiest and Sunday is the hardest.
  • Endless levels Numbered boards that ramp up the same way, scored with 1 to 3 stars. An interactive tutorial shows you how it works.
  • Optional leaderboard Sign in if you want to appear on the leaderboard. You can play without it.
  • Share your result One button shares how you did.
  • No ads A clean, minimalist game with no ads.

How privacy works

No account needed. Without signing in, your game progress and settings are saved on your device. When you finish a daily puzzle, one anonymous row is sent to our database so we can see how hard each day was. It has no name, account or device identifier.

Signing in is optional and only needed for the leaderboard. If you do, your display name and leaderboard entries are public to other players. There are no ads, no advertising IDs, and no analytics or crash-reporting SDKs. Full details are in the Mieru privacy policy.
